Volunteer in a impacted place.

I just applied for a volunteering job in Miyagi, one of the most impacted place. There might be a selection of volunteer stuff and I am not sure if I will really go there. I felt as if I was trying to reach a ticket agency to get a premium ticket for a rock concert by redialing  many times. I managed to access their web site to apply 30 min after they started accepting applications. They closed it just after I did application.

I will be there for 7 days if I am accepted. I think I  will never change my mind for this.

Who could make Vlogs?

Staying up late, out of nowhere, I decided it could be interesting to videotape my self talking in English as if it were a v-log.  Without preparing a script, I had started doing so before I found it too hard to make it long.  There are two reasons to think like that.

First, there is of course a language problem. I stumbled through my talk looking for the next words. This is more due to my attitude to make sentences grammatically perfect than lack of vocabulary. Probably, unconsciously, I knew I would be disappointed when I reviewed the video and found my English unsophisticated.  In fact, in studying a foreign language this attitude may be a major obstacle to develop the language.

Second, well, before all, I am very poor at making speech in front of people. Then how could I do well in front of a video camera even when there’s nobody to watch me? I tried to pretend to talk to the friends in Canada but in vain. I think it will take time to get used to doing this.

I wonder who can do v-logs in such ways as watched in Youtube. It must require you to be very confident of yourself and need a big deal of presentation skill.  This time I stopped making a video on the way after all but I thought it would be helpful to my English if I continue this from now on. Maybe I will upload my v-logs here sometime here.
